HISTORY

Envisioned c. 2021 in his small living space and brought to life in his tiny study and basement c. 2024, EKLIPSCH, as J. A. Armenson puts it, is the unforeseen. It is the final frontier.
A persistent thought had been brewing since c. 2016 and keeping him up at nights: inventing elegant and secure machine(s) that can surpass all his electronic computing or smart devices by leaps, meet his burgeoning needs, can cater to the demands of the people of this century, and endure for generations to come. He would visualize the images of the prototype(s) mentally in spurts of reverie. It was like nothing else, a bit strange for the layman to behold, and a thing of beauty. Little would he anticipate then that the realm of competition would be irrelevant, for what he was about to build after nurturing his idea and waiting for 8 years for an opportunity would eventually upend how people in developed nations lived and worked, and sweep the global markets by storm.Even in trying times, his modesty did not contain his large visions. Realistically, he thought it needed open minds to appreciate the sheer brilliance of what he was building. The challenge lay in raising money from investors, and it was something that the 10% would worship in awe, setting the momentum for the rest 90% to get ignited in excitement about investing. His intuition was strong and he was right. Through his trials, he had refined the art of putting ideas into material forms and turn his ventures into success stories, but this needed unconventional approaches, unshakeable conviction and bold maneuvers. He aspired it to expand from the niche to the mainstream, cognizant that it would initially resonate among those with sophisticated tastes.
However, conventional wisdom and hearsay will never do justice to the actual trajectory of this legendary project. There was scant doubt in his mind about the world’s readiness, for this was a moment to witness history unfurl. We fervently hope people will be as excited about holding these marvels in hands as we were. Please fasten your seatbelts and welcome to the journey.

EKLIPSCH |ɪˈklɪpʃ| is a line of RADs or Root Auxiliary Devices that comprise the portable TOEKBOKS Pulsebook, the mobile TOEKBOKS Pulsephone, the workstation TOEKBOKS Pulseport, and the desktop TOEKBOKS Pulsemini. Accesories include the earphones TOEKBOKS Pulsebuds, the bluetooth speaker TOEKBOKS Pulsetone, and the charger TOEKBOKS Pulsepower.

TOEKBOKS is a registered trademark of the New York Electronic Company (NYEL). Pronounced “talkbox”, it is a combination of “toek”, which originates from the Dutch word “toekomst” meaning “future”, and the Dutch last name “Boks”.
The name connotes to “futuristic enclosures” that the RADs are, but is also emblematic of the audio circuitry and the speakers that are manufactured in Japan with imports from the Netherlands and are representative of their impeccability and distinctiveness.
